The Resilient Clatsop County (RCC) Education Sector Workgroup brings together people who work in or with schools from every level of education in Clatsop County. They meet monthly during the school year to explore tools, resources and applications of trauma informed principles for schools. Together, they work on shared goals and implement strategies from the RCC strategic plan to build resilience in children and their families.
Currently, the workgroup is supporting an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and resiliency community awareness campaign, streamlining resources and communication about ACEs and resilience, and working to offer training and education to staff, students and parents.
